#TrueStoryTuesday: iRemember Big K.R.I.T. emailed me a verse for my single Michael Jordan in 2011 right after he signed w/Def Jam. iKnew he respected my craft cuz he did the verse for free. No charge. No questions asked. Once we released the song online, my phone & inbox startin blowin up from other unsigned artists who wanted to do a track w/K.R.I.T. too. Ill never 4get when this 1 person hit me up sayin they had $5,000 on deck ready to go for a K.R.I.T. verse. When iHit K.R.I.T. up & toldem somebody had 5 bands for a quick feature, he told me honestly was too busy to do it. Thats when iRealized homie really fux w/me cuz he did my shit for free. That also made me realize that he was really gettin to the money cuz them 5 racks didnt mean shit to homie... Thats #motivation.
