#UAAP77 Jrs Volleyball starts today EXCITING action in UAAP Season 77 high school volleyball tournament kicks offtoday with a six-game bill at the Adamson . The competitions in the girls and boys divisions were originally scheduled to open last weekend but were called off due to the unavailability of the gym, according to event host Adamson University. Girls action begins with former champion De La Salle-Zobel taking on UP Integrated School at12:30 p.m., while last season’s runner-up National University faces tournament debutant Far Eastern University-Diliman at 2 p.m., followed by the Adamson-University of the East duel at 3:30 p.m. In boys play, Ateneo and UPIS collide at 8 a.m., while first-time participant FEU-Diliman plays NU at 9:30 a.m., and La Salle-Zobel and University of Santo Tomas clash at 11 a.m. Reigning girls champion UST and boys titleholder UE draw opening day byes and will begin their title-retention campaigns tomorrow. UST, which will miss sorely miss last seasons girls MVP Ennajie Laure who moved up to the Tigresses, takes on La Salle-Zobel at 2 p.m. UE, which will no longer have Season 76 boys MVP Edward Camposano, battles Ateneo at 11 a.m. The Junior Warriors are ruling the boys volleyball for a decade.
