#UKZNConfessions1446 Reading the comments on the Humanities-Engineering debate is quite frustrating. Im an Engineering student and yes, we knew that the degree is difficult; we made a conscious decision to choose this particular career path. Hearing the you made your bed now lay in it line is rather patronizing. I have friends in Humanities and they themselves admit that the content in their modules may also be a lot, but is not as challenging as what Engineering students study. With all due respect, this is something that cannot be denied. Yes, there are people in our faculty who portray egoistic behaviour, but dont paint us all with the same brush. At the end of the day, were all studying towards our respective degrees and know exactly what they entail. Dont be so quick to class another persons passion.
