********** UNTOLD STORY *********** EXODUS 4 : 24 - 26. The LORD confronted Moses and was about to kill him! Why? After a lengthy discussion and negotiation with Moses, the LORD convinced the hesitating Moses to take up the assignment of leading the Israelites out of Egypt; But when he started his journey the LORD confronted Moses and went to the extreme of trying to kill him! Was it not strange? If the LORD was not happy with Moses, why HE chose him for that assignment? Difficult to answer! But Moses wifes immediate response in that situation which saved Moses life throws some light about their problem! She took a flint knife and circumcised her son, threw the foreskin at Moses feet and shouted what a blood smeared bridegroom you are to me?!. What was their problem? Was there a fight in their family regarding their sons circumcision for a long time? Was there a cultural clash between them? Was she, being a daughter of Midianite priest, not able to grasp the spiritual significance of circumcision? Did Moses explanation about that never convince her?. Even after receiving a call from GOD to lead, did Moses fail miserably in leading his own family in the covenant way by avoiding circumcision because of her reluctance? An untold story! But, GOD got satisfied by her response! She was quick enough to grasp the reason behind the LORDs anger! Not just identified the cause, but also acted swiftly to set everything in order! Dear friend, Do you have an untold story in your life? Did your dreams and visions about your ministry get blurred because of your life partner? Do you struggle because of the spiritual incompatibility of your better half? Does your calling to lead is not having an impact even in your own family? Does your assumptions about a spiritually supportive life partner become just assumptions? Are you getting pressed between the scriptural command of honoring your partner and fulfilling your calling? Do you silently cry because of the shattered vision? Wait! GOD knows how to deal with your partner! In the right time, through ups or downs, GOD will deal with your partner! If a daughter of a MIdianite priest can grasp the covenant of circumcision, surely, your partner will also understand the spiritual significance of your vision! Till that time, let your untold story be an untold story! Never try to devalue your partner by quoting or misquoting your partner as the reason for your spiritual barrenness! Wait!
