*UPDATE* As most of you know the animal rescue community in this area is very close knit and if something is going on that puts animals in potential danger we all work together. we have contacts in most every shelter and rescue organization this area so someone we trust will find out and dispel or confirm what we suspect. We can now confirm at least one case of parvo at the hold and that the city is bringing a lot of dogs to MHHS in Menands. We still do not know if the original dog survived or if other dogs were exposed or contracted parvo. We are still waiting for confirmation on the rumor that the hold is closed. We hope that in this case the city was diligent and followed their comprehensive plan and caught the parvo dog early upon intake and other dogs were not exposed. If we get any new info we will post it here.
