***UPDATE*** Moin Leute, lange gabs kein Update mehr zur Albumproduktion. Das liegt aber nur daran, dass wir momentan jede freie Minute im Studio nutzen - Eike hält uns auf Trab, wir halten Eike auf Trab und er musste zwischendurch auch noch mal eben die neue Deep Purple (!) Live CD mischen! Die Unterstützung durch das Crowdfunding hat uns dieses mal ganz neue Türen aufgestoßen: Wir haben endlich die Zeit, alles im Studio nach unseren Wünschen umzusetzen. Nochmal ein großer Dank für Euer Vertrauen! Vorgestern war der letzte Gitarren-Tag: Einige Soli, Leads und Cleansounds wurden noch eingespielt, Drums, Rhythmusgitarren und Bass sind auch schon komplett im Kasten. Ab Montag können wir dann das komplette Augenmerk auf den Gesang legen. Wir sind begeistert von dem, was wir bis jetzt hören und haben das gute Gefühl das sich der ganze Aufwand komplett auszahlt. Wir hoffen und denken, das man der Produktion letztendlich den Spaß, die Liebe und den Schweiß anhören wird, den wir seit Monaten in das Projekt stecken. Nicht zuletzt ist Eikes Einfluss als Produzent unersetzlich, der diesmal dafür sorgt, dass unsere Songs noch etwas aufgeräumter und mehr auf den Punkt klingen. Im weiteren November wird also der restliche Gesang aufgenommen und der Endmix der CD findet dann im Dezember statt. Derweilen arbeiten wir auch an allen anderen Fronten wie Vertrieb, Artwork, Promotion, Video usw. Die Releaseparty ist momentan für April 2014 geplant aber dazu sicher bald mehr. Ende der Woche haben wir uns außerdem auch für einen Albumtitel entschieden, der wird aber natürlich noch nicht verraten ;) Das wars erstmal, wir halten euch auf dem Laufenden! Bis bald, Eure fleißigen Venaticats ------- Hey friends, there hasnt been a production update for a while…thats because were busy recording the album: Eike is keeping us on the go, were keeping him and hes also been kept busy mixing the new Deep Purple (!) live record! The crowdfunding campaign has opened quite some doors for us this time: Were able to record everything the way we want it and how we imagined it to be. Thanks again for your support and trust in the new Venatic record! Friday marked the last day of guitar recordings: Some solos, leads and clean sounds had to be done after weve already finished drums, rhythm guitars and bass recordings. From Monday on we can then focus on Maiks vocal lines. Were pretty stoked by what were heaingr so far! We get the warm feeling that all the effort were putting into this release will ultimately pay off in the end. We also think that you will be able to hear the joy, love and sweat (Torbens in particular) we’ve given to this production during the last months. Eikes input has also greatly helped us to focus more on the songs themselves, their hooklines and structure. We believe weve just never sounded better. In November we will finish the vocal recordings, while mixing and mastering will be done in December. Were also working on finding the best distribution channels, artwork, promotion, music video...the list goes on. Were looking forward to release the record in April 2014 and we will definitely keep you posted.
