***UPDATE ON MARY MAC*** THE BABIES HAVE ARRIVED*** Mary Mac went into labor last night and within a few hours we had five precious new Furkids. Yes, five puppies came out of this tiny girl. We were expecting only three! One of the boys is about half the size of the others, but he is hanging in there and drinking lots of milk. Their wonderful foster home helped mommy during birth and is caring for them now. You could be a foster home just by applying at furkids.org/volunteer Puppies are precious and cute, but spaying and neutering is 100% the best option for all animals. These dogs were lucky to be saved, but 100,000 cats and dogs (including sweet kittens and puppies) die in shelters every year in Georgia due to homelessness. Mom and her babies will all be fixed before adoption and we encourage EVERYONE TO SPAY AND NEUTER! With low cost options you can get any pet fixed for under $100 in Georgia.
