***UPDATE ON THE ARTICLE I POSTED BELOW*** (Again, my apologies for not double-checking the date before posting my angry rant) The author in question did NOT win the award. I see no English newspaper reports on the plagiarism issue, but I think some of the German articles cover that, if someone wanted to translate. The book in question is no longer sold by Amazon, (at least in the US), in anything but paperback, but nothing will change there. However, there is a book with a very similar cover and title in various translations, (no English) still selling, which makes me wonder if this copy/paste re-mixer is still getting royalties from her shady methods. Im still angry. That book should never have been nominated for the award, or allowed to sell once the plagiarism was outed. Unfortunately, I dont own a time machine, and cant travel back to smack some sense into people. lol
