** UPDATE ** This week things are returning back to normal after the Christmas period and settling down again. As expected the festivities hit me and I ended up with a chest infection but thankfully a course of strong antibiotics has worked and it has pretty much disappeared. Tomorrow I have an appointment with my GP to discuss my medication and look at some different options to help manage my pain better. We are hoping to discuss some slow-release medication for my pain and also some sort of gastro tablet to help protect my stomach from all the medication I take. Wednesday I have my MRI scan in the evening. I feeling very apprehensive about it as the last one I had they had to weigh me down with sand bag type things to make sure I didnt move during the scan. They also had to pad my head so that didnt move either, I felt extremely claustrophobic. I am hoping that this scan will provide answers to some of my symptoms, preferably by ruling out anything serious. Prayers for me to remain still throughout the scan, without and spasms or seizures, would be gratefully appreciated. I have received a letter from the community physiotherapist who is due to come out for an assessment next week. We are hoping they will be able to give us some physio exercises that I can do at home in order to save my muscles from weakening any further. Unfortunately last time they insisted I attend clinic every week which is unrealistic for me so we are hoping they will be a little more understanding and flexible this time.
