****UPDATE on the Uberti Cimarron Single Action Army in .44-40, the polishing was completed, now we are beginning the slow rust bluing process. This process of rusting, boiling, carding and wiping with acetone will be done at least 7-10 times. To most people causing a gun to rust seems like it is being damaged, but with the rust blue process, it is what you want to have happen with the rusting solution to produce the blue which is iron magnetite or magnetic black iron. It is very hard wearing and very rust resistant once it is cured properly.
