If you read up on the breed American Bull Dog they are SPECIFIC to advise that they need to be socialized young & that its important to teach them their submissive role in the pack or the will likely have dog aggression issues. OBVIOUSLY THIS IS WHAT HAPPENED TO HER because at less than one year old she was dumped at a kill shelter by her owners.________I am DESPERATE to help her because I know if she cant make it to California to be re-trained, > AND______ SHE WILL BE KILLED THIS TIME._______ Please share with anyone and everyone you can think of.... I WOULD LIKE TO ASK EACH OF YOU TO CONSIDER DONATING JUST $1 EACH. Meet Angel. Angel was supposed to be mine and Adams new dog. We found her on a website with a desperate call to save her as she was scheduled to be put to sleep the very next day. Adam and I fell in love and a nice lady on the east coast (Bobbi Wekenmann) had her pulled from the shelter and taken to the vet to get fixed and all her shots and tests to make sure she was healthy, etc (this was all paid for by generous donations from people all across the US). When the time came for her to leave the vet she went to a temporary home in Alabama where it was quickly discovered she has SERIOUS aggression issues. (The immediate thought was perhaps she was used as a bait dog because upon meeting another dog she will immediately attack/defend herself.) REGARDLESS, it because clear that she could not come home to Seattle to be with us until she got help so Bobbi set out to find help... There is a RESCUE in California (Park A Mutt) who promises us she can rehabilitate Angel (and if she cannot, promised she would make sure she was safe and loved the rest of her life) **She NORMALLY CHARGES $100/day to board and feed her while she does this but has agreed to take her FREE as long as we can get her to CALIFORNIA where she is at. THAT IS GOING TO COST $375 and so far all we have been able to raise in donations is $30 WORSE - ANGEL WAS IN FOSTER CARE (free) until today. The lady has other dogs and has declared she cannot keep Angel another day. THIS MEANS WE WILL NOW NEED AN ADDITIONAL $10 FOR EVERY DAY SHE IS IN BOARDING!! I AM *****begging***** ALL OUR FRIENDS, FAMILY AND CHURCH FAMILY to consider donating just $1 toward the cost of transporting her to California to help us save her life. Even though there is no guarantee she will end up being able to come live with us she has wormed her way into our hearts and we cannot let them KILL HER, after everything we have already done to save her.
