***URGENT INPUT NEEDED**** Pat Mock and I (Pam Charbonneau) would like to invite the ENTIRE RESCUE COMMUNITY to join us for a luncheon (or dinner) planning meeting for the upcoming fundraising events for Macon Purrs and Paws. If nothing else we need you to bring your bodies to socialize and EAT, as we will pick a place that will donate a portion of your tab to MPNP. We are counting on your creative minds, talents, and love of the animals to entice you to help us plan, head up, join, and volunteer for committees to assist with publicity and various duties to pull off two major events. One event will be a Friday combo white elephant sale with a lunch/dinner that we sell tickets to , and it will also include volunteers delivering take-outs to offices with multiple orders. The second event will be “The Macon Has No Talent Show” and we will need volunteers to create and perform skits and find performers for this venue. CONSIDER what it would be like if there were no Macon Purrs N Paws to rescue the kitties of Macon and surrounding communities and PLEASE help us make this a COMBINED EFFORT of all rescue minded people to SAVE this valuable shelter. The first order of business is to determine the preferences of those that would most likely come to the planning meal, even if that would be your only contribution to the cause it would be appreciated. PLEASE ONLY USE THIS POST to simply state whether you prefer a luncheon or dinner and your 1st and 2nd preference for a day of the week, and probable number in the party so I can get an estimate of the number of people that would probably attend and get us the best deal from a restaurant that will donate a portion of the tab. Shortly I will set up another event with the date, place, and time and ask that you only state you are joining if you WILL BE THERE, otherwise select decline or Maybe so I can get a more accurate count.
