***URGENT: MANDY NEEDS YOUR HELP! Please SHARE!!! Help us, help her! Mandy when she was 6 months old living at Gas Station on Long Island begging for food until the day her rescuer stopped to get gas. She was covered in a tar like substance and she knew she could not leave this sweet little kitten. Mandy adjusted so well to her new environment at our adoption center and everyone loved her. One day we noticed that her face was twitching! We didnt know what was happening so we rushed her to the vet where they determined that her twitch was actually a focal seizure, which means it is localized and not a general seizure but a seizure disorder non-the- less. We to raise the funds for an MRI to determine possible causes of these seizures. Each of the various possible causes for these seizures require different treatment. She seems to be living with this well now but it is probable that the seizures will get worse. With a proper diagnosis we can determination proper care and treatment for Mandy.
