The ESO then coincidentally they stopped paying rent while we allowed them to continue using the Hemmens without past or current rent payments being made. They approached the council in January saying they would like to be funded again but did not need our funding. Now there is a plan coming Wednesday that will not only wipe their $303,786 debt due the taxpayers completely off the books, but will reinstate a future funding level. No word yet on if we will also be wiping out all unpaid water bills, parking tickets, code violation and animal control tickets for our citizens at the same time, too. Feel abused yet?
