As of 29 Jul 14 / 08L, Andersen AFB is in TCCOR 4. *** Tropical Depression 11W is located about 245NM SE of Guam and will continue on a W-NW track through the next 48-72hrs. Andersen AFB is expected to see scattered showers and thunderstorms tomorrow and into Thursday. Maximum winds expected will be 15-30KTS with gusts of up to 40KTS. 6-8 inches is expected through the next 24-72hrs. 1. At 29/07L Tropical Depression ELEVEN was located at 11.6° North and 148.6° East, approximately 245 nautical miles Southeast of Andersen AFB. Current movement is to the West Northwest at 12 knots. 2. Tropical Depression ELEVEN had winds gusting to 40 knots near its center and was moving to the West Northwest at 12 knots. The closest point of approach (CPA) is forecast to be 33 nautical miles at 30/17L. If Tropical Depression ELEVEN continues to move as forecast, damaging winds of 50 knots or greater (sustained) are not anticipated to occur. The strongest winds on Guam are expected to be sustained at 30 knots with 40 knot gusts at 30/16L. 3. Conditions expected at Andersen AFB over the next 24 hours: Scattered rainshowers, winds 15 knots with gusts up to 25 knots, crosswinds (including gusts) 18 knots. 48 hours: Scattered rainshowers, winds 30 knots with gusts up to 40 knots, crosswinds 25 knots. 72 hours: Scattered rainshowers, winds 10 knots with gusts up to 18 knots, crosswinds 18 knots. 6-8 inches of rain are expected over the next 24-72 hours. 4.
