[VICTOR THE DREAMER] [Chapter 14] [THE QUARTER FINAL PART] The following week, my dad and i set out for the journey. After boarding a bus at the T-garage, the journey commenced. When we got to the half-way of our destination, the tyre of the right side deplorably bursted. I checked my wristwatch, the time was 12:33pm. The driver had to look for a vulcanizer around the area. Up till 2hours, we havent seen the driver come back. Some passengers soon began to curse the driver after much delay. What should we do? i asked my dad and he urged me to wait a little bit. At exactly 4:23pm, we sighted the driver coming along with some guys, They are the vulcanizers, i guessed. As soon as they got to us, one of them brought out a small gun from his pocket and fired one bullet to the sky. Everybody lie down, he ordered us. We quickly did as he said. Bring out all youve gotten, be it money, gold, chain, wrist watch, mobiles, bag, sandal e.t.c, another guy ordered us as we all began to bring out all what weve gotten. Omg! Im finally doomed, i said to myself. After the robbers packed all the things dropped into a GMG bag, they ordered everyone to lie down again as they ran away. After they left, everyone began to run helter skelter like someone being beaten with charm. Some of them were shouting Ori iya mi, Mo gbe o, Eyin ara e gba mi o We had nothing left with us again, not even #5. How do we go about it? i asked my dad. I dont even know for now, i dont think im in my right senses..he said to me confusingly. Ah dad, im totally finished, im presently dying of hunger, i yelled to him as i rubbed my stomach. After long thoughts, my dad came up with a suggestion. Should we pretend to be beggers in order to get some money atleast to take something in first before we think of what next. Hmmm, its a good idea but i dont have the energy to trek to anywhere, please allow me to stay here while you perform the actions. If that should be the case, then its okay by me.
