.......VMS_News....... We cannot celebrate Eid in this hour of grief: DAK People have stood up to God’s test. The doctors of the valley will provide free medical services on Eid in already set up medical camps. This will be the best tribute to those families who have been ravaged by recent devastating floods. The voluntary medical camps will remain open for public on Eid days along with services of senior medics, which will give solace to people in absence of functional hospitals, President Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) Dr Nisar ul Hassan today said in a statement to Valley Media Service. Pharmaceutical companies and voluntary organizations are requested to keep adequate medicines available in medical camps on Eid so that there is no inconvenience to people. We cannot celebrate Eid in this hour of grief when our brethren are in pain and agony. How can we celebrate Eid when our brethren are spending their nights under open sky? Allah Says in Chapter Al-Baqarah Verse 155 of Holy Quran, “we shall certainly test you by afflicting you with fear, hunger, loss of properties and lives and fruits. Give glad tidings, then, to those who remain patient”. People of the valley have stood up to God’s test by joining in to help their brethren and showing highest degree of social solidarity. The recent devastating floods have discovered the fighting spirit in people of the valley who have shown that they can survive and sustain their survival on their own. During the catastrophe, youth have given a direction to this nation by way of their innovative ideas and organizational skills.
