#ValenzuelaCity is geographically similar to Tacloban City. Our city is practically along a coastal area, prone to flooding during typhoon season, and is vulnerable to many other risks. This analogy prompted the City Government of Valenzuela to design an award-winning entry to the Liveable Cities Design Challenge, the Tayo Na Valenzuela! The Comprehensive Disaster Preparedness Plan, with the vision to create an #ALERT Center and eight 3S Centers. Besides making Valenzuela disaster-prepared, the city will be a liveable place through facilities that consider the day-to-day needs of the Valenzuelanos.
