* Visitor Centre Assistant * North Oxfordshire - Permanent * Salary: £18,000 - £20,000 per annum * Our well known, highly respected client is a unique tourist destination located near the picturesque Cotswolds at the heart of rural Oxfordshire, are seeking a Visitor Centre Assistant to join their team. Our client is situated in a prime central location with exceptional transport links all within striking distance to the renowned Blenheim Palace, Waddesdon Manor, and Oxford with its world-famous university and celebrated Ashmolean Museum of Art and Archaeology. The team is predominantly focused on providing a “World Class VIP” welcome and service with specific emphasis on: • The ultimate hospitality Experience • Promoting a range of innovative and efficient “concierge style services” • Promoting the surrounding area and our Community partners • Being luxury ambassadors for hospitality & guest services • Promoting visitation at local and national tourist attractions in line with the objectives of our main tourism partners. SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: • Tenacity and a passion for working with people. • Proven track record of exemplary success in a Host, Customer/Guest Services or Tourism role within a premium or luxury environment (which might include Hotel, Tourism, Retail, Events sectors). • Intuitive and able to prioritise and adapt effectively. • Excellent interpersonal skills, in particular in dealing with international guests, with impact & influence. • Deep understanding of the international luxury customer and their cultural norms & values. • A keen interest in the leisure and tourism industry. • Computer literate and fully conversant in the full suite of Microsoft Office Applications including Outlook. • International languages are highly desirable, in particular Chinese and Arabic.
