***Volunteers Needed*** #BrowardPIT The 2015 Point-In-Time Count will take place January 26-28, 2015 The Point-In-Time Count is a census of individuals experiencing #homelessness in a region. Once a year, #volunteers across #Broward County join together in an effort to stop the cycle of homelessness and reduce the level of hardship for as many people in our #community as possible... and that time has come once again! On the days of the count, volunteers will conduct face to face interviews with individuals in order to collect data on the number of people experiencing homelessness. This methodology helps to ensure that statistical data reflects both need and outcomes for those serving the homeless population. This complex yet crucial activity will take place January 26-28, 2015. Volunteering commitments include: REQUIRED: Receiving training (approximately one to two hours) to learn tips and tools on surveying people who are homeless.
