Now there is Goddards Law or House Bill 274 which has passed the Ohio House of Representatives and is sitting idle in the Senate Agriculture Committee... Maybe the case of Ruby can help move that bill along...Maybe the case of Ruby can help to make it a First Offense Felony in the State of Ohio, as the bill states that No person shall knowingly cause serious physical harm to a companion animal. and if they do, they can be charged with a Felony in the 5th Degree...
