**WEATHER IN DETAIL FOR TODAY** ~~Trish~~ Weather Situation A high pressure system over the southwestern Tasman Sea is moving east maintaining a ridge to northern New South Wales. During Tuesday and Wednesday a low pressure trough with a low embedded in it will move across the state. This trough will move offshore early on Thursday and the low will deepen over the southern Tasman Sea. The trough and the low are expected to move slowly east away from the coast during Friday and Saturday. Forecast for the rest of Sunday Cloudy. Scattered showers, more frequent in the north. Winds south to southeasterly 15 to 20 km/h becoming light in the middle of the day. Daytime maximum temperatures between 18 and 21.
