🎄WEVE BEEN ELF-ED🎄 My husband & I are normally in bed by 10pm, but were so into our Christmas movies that we stayed up quite late. It was after 10pm, and I spot a man walking on the sidewalk with a Christmas bag...weve only lived here a couple of months so dont really know anybody around here just yet. I thought nothing of it!🎅 Well, as I sit & watch Home Alone, a few minutes later, the part where the bad guys do what they do, and the music along with it...... All of a sudden, I see someone crouched down beside our truck coming up the driveway! Im the biggest chicken ever, so started whisper yelling at my husband trying not to wake our kids & all I can think of was Marv & Harry from Home Alone, LOL😜 My imagination is wild at this point! Were checking our side window, but nothing!! The doorbell rang, & my husband is right at our door now! He opens it & finds this person running away. All he can say at this point was Hi, hi?, (my husband I mean), and then a thank you, as this person looked back at my husband & says I guess I got busted, lol My husband walks back up our entrance stairs holding a Christmas bag with a letter inside. It reads Youve Been Elf-ed, along with what this game & basket of treat was all about! Inside the bag was some candy canes, chocolates, candy & a beer!! This had to be one of the best evenings ever!!! We absolutely LOVE living in the Valley, LOVE the neighbourhood and how friendly the people around here are.....this just topped it all off! ☺️😊 Whoever this person was, (we guess they knew that we are new to the neighbourhood, let alone the Greater Sudbury area) we want to say thank you sooooo much for making our Christmas that much more special. We will DEFINITELY join in this neighbourhood game! (....and quite sorry you got busted at the same time, lol) From our family to you & yours, Merry Christmas🎄🍻
