“WHENEVER YOU LOOK FOR ME (GOD), YOU WILL FIND ME. My promise to be with you always ensures you never have to face anything alone. However, to reap the benefits of this amazing blessing, you must look for Me in the midst of your moments. This sounds like an easy thing to do, but it goes against the grain of the world…” I loved this reminder in my morning’s appointment time with God yesterday. That was enough to bring me back to my calm center, where I rest in God, trusting Him, leaving all my burdens, knowing I face nothing alone and we don’t go by the ordinary rules of man! But, it really isn’t an easy thing! Case in point: “You didn’t tell me you love me,” my hubby said to me at about 1 am the other morning. We had just talked on the phone about 20 minutes before this, but he was calling back again. To be honest, I was really upset with him about something, but in the midst of that moment and wanting to really give him a piece of my mind, I paused and I went to God: ‘God, what do I do here?’ And the feelings were to calm down and be my most loving self, instead of losing it and saying something I might regret later. I still haven’t told him why I was upset with him, but in thinking about it, I believe this experience with my hubby was really a lesson for me from God to trust Him. Not every battle is for me to fight! I feel I have the best hubby in the world, and in our twelve years of marriage, he has earned my love and respect, so much so that I can overlook a fault every now and again- nobody’s perfect! I really see him doing his best as a husband, father and person and I am a super proud wife! Going to God in that moment was the best solution and I’m happy I did! I’m learning to not discuss things with anyone when I’m upset, but to wait until I’m calm and can discuss things sensibly and calmly. I love my free therapy! LOL! WE ROLL WITH GOD!
