(WRCB) - No records for today, but it sure feels spring-like! Wednesday should be just a little bit cooler with highs near 60 which is 9 degrees above normal. Skies will be partly cloudy and winds should be light and from the northwest. Clouds will be increasing Wednesday night with low in the low to mid 30s Thursday will be cloudy and still a little above normal with highs in the low to mid 50s. Some of the latest weather charts are showing a system developing near the Gulf of Mexico on Friday. This time of year, a system down there could be a problem for us with wintry weather. As of today it looks like we will be warm enough that rain will move with cool highs in the mid to upper 40s. Lows should be in the mid 30s Friday morning. This system needs to monitored, to make sure it does not get stronger. If it does get stronger then it could pull more cold air down our way. Saturday should be dry and cool with highs near 50. On Sunday clouds will be increasing with a chance for some showers developing late Sunday night. This system will be coming out of the northwest. It will be a fast mover. Rain showers will break out ahead of it and there could be a wintry mix in the Cumberland plateau and the Blue Ridge mountains with this clipper. Highs on Monday will be in the mid 40s. Next Tuesday looks cool and dry. So if you like winter weather, there is a chance something may happen over the next 7 days. Stay tuned!
