*** WWE Raw 06/30/2014 Results *** * Raw opens with the arrival of the Authority, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. Steph says that they are there to celebrate last night. It started with Daniel Bryan announcing that its gonna take longer for him to come back. She then hypes Seth Rollins for winning the Money in the Bank briefcase last night. Triple H says that Seth is the future of the WWE. He then mentions the championship match from last night, and calls Cena an A+ player. Triple H then introduces John Cena and the new WWE Champ makes his way to the ring. Cena starts by saying that when Daniel Bryan gets back, he is going to get his title opportunity that he deserves. Stephanie tells Cena that he is going to be on the cover of the new WWE2k15 video game. They then unveil the cover of the game. Cena says thanks, but The Authority cannot control him. Triple H says that it doesnt bother him that Cenas the champion, as long as he carries the title with respect. Triple H says it can be taken away as fast as he got it. Then tells him that things can be done the easy way, or the hard way around here. Cena says he will do them the hard way. Triple H says that at the Battleground PPV, Cena will defend the title in a fatal 4 way match, against Kane, Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. Triple H grabs a mic and says that if Cena survives at Battleground, there is always a plan B. Seth Rollins now walks out holding the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins makes his way to the ring as Cena walks to the back. Rollins stands in the ring celebrating with Triple H and Stephanie as he will have a match up next. * Seth Rollins beat Rob Van Dam in a solid match which saw Rollins nailing RVD with a Dragon Screw while he was on the ropes and then followed it up with his Curb Stomp finisher. After the match, Renee Young came out to interview Seth. Rollins says that he should be called Mr Money in the Bank and the briefcase is his golden ticket to become the WWE Champion. Dean Ambrose came out and promised that anytime Rollins tries to cash in, he will be there to haunt him. He says it isnt a contract inside that briefcase, its TNT. He says anytime he tries to cash in, it will blow up in his face. * Rusev and Lana came out. Lana did her usual mocking the USA and saying that no one can stop Russia or Rusev. They were cut off by Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter. Colter said theyre tired of Rusev and Lana coming out each week to slam their country. Colter says they should listen to the sound of a real America. He tells everyone to rise up and say we the people. Rusev and Swagger got face to face in the ring. Rusev charges Swagger but gets a double arm drag and Rusev then angrily went straight to the back with Lana. * The Wyatt Family defeated Sheamus and The Usos. Good back and forth 6-man tag match which saw Harper nailing Jey with a big spinning clothesline to get the win for the Wyatts. * The Funkadactyls defeated Nikki Bella in a 2 on 1 handicap match. Naomi tags herself in and hit Nikki with a cross body followed by her finisher to score the win. After the match Cameron is mad at Naomi for tagging herself in. They started shoving each other until Cameron decides to leave. * The announcers gave an update on Bad News Barrett and says that he will be out for quite a few months. They then announced that the Intercontinental Championship is now vacant, and a new champion will be determined by a battle royal at the Battleground PPV. * Kofi Kingston beat Cesaro (w/ Paul Heyman). Kofi won during the commercial break and when the show returns, Cesaro was beating the hell out of Kofi all throughout the ringside. Cesaro tossed Kofi on the announce table and also on the barricades. The attack ended when several referees came out to stop a furious Cesaro. * Vince McMahons music hits and out comes Damien Sandow dressed as Vince (lol). Sandow says welcome to Monday Night Raw. He says he is the chairman of the board, Vincent Kennedy Mcmandow. He says that he has made the WWE a global juggernaut. He says he has seen great talent like Hulk Hogan, Triple H, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and a man who is the most talented to ever step in the ring, Damien Sandow. He then says that he is officially entering Sandow into the Intercontinental battle royal. He says if anyone has a problem with that, they are fired. Stephanie shows up on the screen and was angry at Sandow. She set him up for a match up next. * The Great Khali beat Damien Sandow. One Khali big chop on the head and its over. * The Miz made his return on Raw. He says unlike Hollywood, who actually appreciates him, the WWE Universe doesnt appreciate him. He says that he is the A-lister that can do everything, and he wont leave until he is headlining Wrestlemania again. He was then cut off by the music of Chris Jericho! Y2J also made his return and nails Miz with a codebreaker. Jericho was about to welcome us to Raw is J... but the Wyatt Family cut him off. The Wyatt family surrounded Jericho in the ring and beat down on him. Bray finishes the attack with a Sister Abigail on Y2J. The Wyatts stood over Jericho to end the segment. * Dolph Ziggler defeated Fandango (w/ Layla). Summer Rae came out in the middle of the match and kissed Ziggler to distract Fandango. The distraction allowed Ziggler to nail a Zig Zag on Fandango to get the win. * Stardust and Goldust beat Ryback and Curtis Axel. Good tag match which featured Stardust aka Cody Rhodes new skill sets. Stardust hit Axel with a modified facebuster for the win. * Paige came out and talked to the WWE Universe about being Divas Champion for the past 3 months. She says that she is here to stay. She was then cut by the music of a returning AJ Lee! AJ thanked Paige for giving her a reality check because she let success get to her head. She then asked the WWE Universe if they want to see a Divas Championship match right now. Loud Yes chants and Paige obliged. * Divas Championship Match: AJ Lee defeated Paige to become the new Divas Champion. Short Divas match which saw AJ slapping Paige so hard and then rolled her up to get the victory and the title. * John Cena and Roman Reigns defeated Randy Orton and Kane via disqualification. Solid main event tag-match between 4 guys who will fight for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in the next special event. The DQ came in when Kane hit Cena with the steel steps in his face while Orton and Reigns are battling up at the ramp. Kane then nails Cena with a tombstone in the middle of the ring and out comes Seth Rollins with the Money in the Bank Briefcase. Seth was about to cash it in but Dean Ambrose came out and ruins everything as he promised earlier in the show. Ambrose and Rollins fought each other throught the crowd, leaving Triple H and Kane in the ring with a fallen John Cena. Triple H gives a chair to Kane to hit Cena, but Reigns came back to the ring and hits Kane with a spear. Triple H and Roman Reigns have a long stare down in the ring. Triple H backs off and walks to the ramp to end the show. *****************************
