*** WWE Smackdown 8/29/14 Results *** * Roman Reigns defeated Bray Wyatt via disqualification in the shows opening match. Late in the match, Erick Rowan and Luke Harper came in the ring and attacked Reigns once he gained a big momentum over Bray. Big Show and Mark Henry comes out for the save and attacks the Wyatts. The Wyatt Family retreats and this sets up the 6 man tag main event match for the evening. * Seth Rollins beat Rob Van Dam in a solid match. Late in the match, RVD is setting Rollins for a superplex, only to be raked in the eye. Seth then hits 2 turnbuckle powerbombs on RVD and hits his Curb Stomp finisher for the win. * Paige defeated Emma via submission in a non-title Divas match with the PTO. After the match, AJ came out and offered Paige a box of chocolates and says that she still considers Paige a friend. Paige eats some and spits it back at the box and then leaves. * Submmission Match: Rusev(w/ Lana) beat Jack Swagger in a good back and forth match. Late in the fight, Swagger was able to fight out of an Accolade and tries to fight back on Rusev. However, Bo Dallas comes out and sweeps his legs as Rusev reapplies the Accolade, this time successfully makes Swagger tap out. After the match, Bo cut some promo before hitting Swagger with a Bo-Dog. * Jimmy Uso (w/ Jey Uso) beat Goldust (w/ Stardust). Short match which saw Jimmy managing to pul out a rollup on Stardust for the win. After the bell, Goldust gets in the ring and attacks Jimmy. Stardust and Goldust then focused their attacks on Jey and inflicted more damage on his injured leg. * Sheamus defeated Damien Mizdow with the White Noise. After the match, The Miz attacks Sheamus and tries to run away. But Dolph Ziggler came out and throws him back in the ring. Sheamus tries to hit him with the Brogue Kick, but Miz manages to escape and run through the crowd. Damien Sandow eats a Brogue Kick instead. * Roman Reigns, Mark Henry & Big Show defeated The Wyatt Family in tonights main event match. Fantastic 6-man tag match. Show and Henry took turns to fight the Wyatts and Roman would get the red hot tag late in the match to bring the house down. Very good finishing sequence which saw all 6 men getting in the ring until Reigns is left with Luke Harper. Roman would nail Harper with a Big Spear for the victory for his team. Smackdown ends with the winning trio standing in the middle of the ring. ****************************
