* WWE’s website has posted a storyline injury update on NXT Champion Sami Zayn, one week after he was attacked by Kevin Owens at NXT Takeover: R Evolution. WWE noted that x-rays of Zayn’s spine came back negative as did a CT scan of his head. Zayn was diagnosed with cervical & thoracic muscle strains and held overnight at the Winter Park Memorial Hospital for observation. Sami is currently resting before beginning physical therapy at the WWE Performance Center.
