“Wars and Rumors of Wars” The Syrian conflict is another vivid reminder that we are living in the Last Days. In Matthew 24 Jesus was talking about some of the Signs of the End Times. In verse 6 He said, “And you shall hear of wars and rumors of wars…” Wars have always been around, but Jesus said that the number would accelerate in the Last Days. Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq, Libya, Pakistan, Angola. Somalia, Congo, Darfur, Albania, Uganda etc. etc. I read that in the last 3 centuries there have been 286 major and minor wars in Europe. May this Syrian War remind us all that Jesus is Coming Again. We’re not looking for something to happen, we’re looking for SOMEONE to come. “…even so, come Lord Jesus” (Revelation 22:20). The next to the last verse in the Bible.
