“Way Better Than a Five Star Property” 4 of 5 starsReviewed 3 days ago NEW I stayed at Oakwood Residences Pune in March 2014 for two nights with my wife and 15 month old son. The hotel is a great property. The rooms are completely self sufficient with a microwave, Fridge, Coffee maker and all types of other kitchen appliances that you may need for a comfy stay. The dishes and utensils provided were also fantastic and fax exceeded my expectations. The staff were polite and extremely accommodating at check in and even during the time of our stay. We had two breakfasts at the restaurant which were very good and even the room service was decent although the prices were a bit on the steeper side. However given the fully equipped kitchen that they have you really dont need to rely on the restaurant or room service for food. If you are here on a long stay just visit one of the supermarkets and get your stuff and you can cook anything you want. One negative point only is the quality of sound proofing of the rooms leaves a bit to be desired. If you have noisy neighbors like we did who were up till almost 3 am you may not get great sleep. Overall a good place to stay in especially for a long trip and definitely better than any five star hotel room.
