"Ways of SKBDO" You should never engage an opponent while angry. Anger causes the body to be tense and mind to react irrationally. Ultimately, you become fatigued and flustered. Although, there are many that believe anger gives a fighter increase strength and a higher pain tolerance, there are more negative results than positive. First and for most, in most cases, when a person gets extremely angry their body tends to release a huge amount of dopamine and adrenaline. This causes the body to work at a higher level than normal for a couple of minutes and then the muscles tire because of lacid acid. If this energy surge is not regulated and maintained the fighter is left powerless where they once seemed powerful. Power comes from utilizing proper technique and understanding the anatomy of the human body. A fighter must engage with a clear mind, remaining focus while applying all tools necessary. When a fighter is calm, this allows for steady breathing and oxygen to flow throughout the body. When muscles are properly oxygenated they work longer and are stronger. This allows a fighter to perform at a higher controlled output and relatively be a better fighter. Of course there are many cases where an angry aggressive opponent is able to overwhelm a more passive individual. Overall a passive fighter with proper skill and conditioning will get the best of an out of control anger fighter. Even if the angry fighter is of equal skill, in most cases the calm fighter is the victor. Not only is there a physical aspect, but there is also a mental element that needs to be taken into consideration.
