Many of the spree killers in recent years PASSED background checks and the rest would not have been subjected to them under any background check law. But, no matter, they are going to try it any way. So now in addition to a ballot measure being pushed in Washington, we have one in Nevada. We have been informed Arizona is next. And we have had several reports of signatures being gathered here in Oregon although no measure has been filed yet. In recent weeks dealers have been reporting outrageously long wait times for checks when the system was working at all. Now they want to extend that to a gun you want to leave with your girlfriend while you are out of town. These measures are being funded by people who can write a million dollar check without batting an eye or disturbing the armed guards who go everywhere with them. This is some serious stuff folks.
