** Week 1, Day 2 of my competition prep ** Im feeling pretty good actually. I learned from the past that low carb diets just dont work for my body. So Im keeping things at high protein, moderate carbs, and moderate fats. Id rather fuel my body right and create the calorie deficit through being active, than to starve myself and have my workouts suck as a result lol Every week or two I will be making adjustments to my diet according to how my body is reacting to it. Making sure I still had the energy to workout, train my clients, and take care of things at home was important. My kiddos have been really sick since about Friday, so Ive had to resort to late night lifting sessions after theyve gone to sleep, and doing my cardio first thing in the morning before they wake up. I know things will be more challenging as the weeks progress, but for now, Im appreciating the ease at which Ive been able to transition into the prep. Just gotta keep going strong! :)
