***Weekly Recap *** By: Lakshmi Rajesh December 1st, 2014 *** Ash *** :-) The EPB week that was... Oh deary! Its been a dull and dry week for us at EBP! The first four days were so lackluster that it put you off to sleep and then thank goodness for the fifth and sixth days cos we had some lovely Ashlok moments that made us sit up and watch again! The Jyothi story? Still boring! Finally Riyas marriage is fixed and credit for that goes to Renuka for being good hearted enough in accepting a girl with a child from another marriage as her bahu! Boy! Are they far from the truth or what?! Riyas tantrums start and she wants a big wedding and a list of expensive jewellery! Poor Sid! Looks like the ideal situation now for Varad Dada to jump in and help! Wonder what all drama will unfold if that happens. Cutie Kaavya calls up her Ajji and Anjali gets a chance to hear Jyothi, Varad and Sojal talk. She also gets to know about Sidharths sisters wedding. The Ankush story did amuse me this week for about 5 minutes, maybe. Ankushs Im Reformed acting was fun to watch for a while with him dressed in Kurtha, taking fasts and calling Kalindi Aayi but then it got boring. Kalindi wants to believe hes changed but Ajju is sure that he is acting. In spite of Varads efforts, the office staff and clients still want Niranjans or Shloks approval and Baba dearest is still lost in thoughts of his favourite child. Varad even massages Babas feet after a pep talk from wifey but in vain. I find no empathy for Varad in these scenes. I mean, why try to be someone you’re not? If Baba cannot see and love you for the person you are, then I say it’s his loss! There were so many others in his life who loved and appreciated him for who he was! You would expect all this reaction from a young messed up kid but not a grown up, mature, level headed guy who up until now had no problems with Babas Shloky love….. and Niranjan? What father would say I love you but I love Shlok more?! I suppose that was for Varad to make his declaration of I will gain power and control and no one can stop me! Bravo! The CVs have created a new villain in EBP! But who wants to see Varad as a villain?! I see a pattern forming here. Aastha discovers about Varad, Shlok disbelieves, Aastha supports Baba and well probably have the Varad truth revealing in a years time!! Lol! Just a thought guys! The Ashlok story this week had a really depressing start with Aastha hiding the truth about the gold coins from Shlok. She shouldnt have done it, especially now when there was no reason for secrets between them. Anjali Ki Rasoyi Se finally opened and loved the way Shlok helped and supported Aastha. So sweet was the way he waited till she was settled and then took her hands in his to tell her about his job. Well, Aasthas food truck had a bad first day and so did Shloks job. Shlok lost his job as his employer found out who he was and assumed that Shlok was taking this job to spy on them. Its night and she decides to distribute the leftover food among the poor. Not giving up, she lifts up her spirits thinking tomorrow was a new day and they would have better luck. Shlok and Aastha walk back home hand in hand and have a moment together sitting by the street. Seeing her find happiness in the simple things in life, watching her always finds a brighter side to a situation, Shlok was learning to see life through her eyes. It made him stronger and his love for her deeper with each passing day. It was a really endearing moment when he simply confessed to her that watching her happy made him forget his tensions, made him want to be happy too and with the folding of her hands as she pointed to the moon, reaching out to hold her face and kiss it, he without any words once again conveyed that SHE was his moon! Aaww!! Loved loved the holding of her chin as she shyly hid her face in his shoulder. As I watched them, I wondered would he have really known and understood her the way he does now if they were at the Agni Mansion with all the chaos there and his busy and hectic life. Would they have spent so much time together? I think the simpleness of their life right now is doing their relationship a world of good and sticking with each other in adverse times the way they were doing now was bringing them closer like never before. Next day, Shlok comes out with a master plan of buying a T.V. to watch cricket and Anjali ki Rasoyi Se becomes an instant hit! Aastha dear then pulling in hubby for a kiss?! Not bad! Love it! Totally loved watching them working together as a team! Shloky moments of love and affection are the best part of this track and I suppose its main intention. Each loving action from his side acts like a balm for the hurtful things hed done to her in the past. I know theyve long moved on from all that but still I find it hard to forget. So totally loving the way he is with her now. Probably this Food truck track will end bringing in a shift in their relationship. I only hope this fake gold coin issue will end up making their relationship stronger and we get to say “Ha! In your face!“ to that annoying lady, instead of having to see their relationship get weaker giving the new entry (The boss) a chance to exploit it. Apsara will create trouble and Shlok will now find out about the coins. In a way Im glad that the gold coin issue is out in the open. The sooner it’s cleared the better. Hope Shlok is able to understand why Aastha does it and hope Aastha never hides anything again from him. Given the point at which their relationship stands at the moment this seems the likely outcome but with our CVs we never know! So eagerly waiting in anticipation now to see how things unfold!
