I think they’re convinced and I think they’ll hang on after…as you say…well…after Disney.” - Walt Disney (December 5th, 1901 - December 15th, 1966) I think about it every year at this time; looking for Walts grave at Forest Lawn Glendale in California, not having any clue where it was and making a beeline through the park, zeroing in on a place, climbing out of my car, walking towards a building corner, climbing over a locked gate and finding myself staring at his gravesite. Walt passed the day before I was born, the exit and entry points separated by only a few miles. Sometimes I wonder about that connection. Transference of energies as spirits passed behind the veil? I dont know. All I do know is, he remains an inspiration to many and was a true visionary. Hed be mad as hell about some of the changes within the company that bears his name, but I think hed still be proud that things hung on after Disney. R.I.P. Uncle Walt. Your legacy will out.
