[Wendy] Mom has for the most part been sleeping since this afternoon. They have inserted a nasal feeding tube and are checking xrays right now to make sure its all correctly in place. once that is confirmed they will begin to feed her. That should go a long way in helping her recovery. I met with her doctor earlier today and he wants to focus on getting her nutrition up so that she can gain strength. It looks like at least another 3-5 days there. The speech therapist, Lori, will continue to visit. I wish others could have seen what I saw today. The fourth floor intermediate ICU is more visitor friendly. Ive been able to camp out in her room since I arrived. I like that a lot since mom appears to be a little anxious anytime she wakes up. Seeing a familiar face seems to help. Thank you all for your continued prayers. We are on a long, uphill battle with recovery.
