***What does rescue mean for a Rescuer*** A dog with no option whos future may be dependent on your decision. Foster them. Love them. Rehabilitate them. Mend them. Responsibly rehome them. Our newest boy Buggalugs is today enjoying his 1st day in care. Hes had a bath. He has a brand new collar. He has a new ID tag. He had BBQ chook for lunch. He had a bone for afternoon tea. Hes currently having a siesta. Hes calm & cute & has ZERO issues with any of the other dogs. He has some major toileting problems which will be looked into by a vet in due course. He has some odd lumps on his body which need to be inspected. His skin/fur needs to be treated from past severe flea infestation. He will no doubt come down with kennel cough in due course. And he also has a cauliflower left ear. Hes sweet & gentle & doesnt appear to have a single bad bone in his body. He adores water - trying desperately to climb into his water bowl or drink from the garden hose. Hes a delight. Cute, stumpy, barrel body, short squat legs, dumpy fat feet & eyes that ask to love you. My heart feels very full today. I went out on a limb to rescue this dog - nervous & anxious due to his suitability for PFT. I had a feeling about him and had to trust my gut instinct. My instinct was right.......
