“When a king sits on his throne to judge he winnows out all evil with his eyes,” (Pr. 20:8). Wisdom has let us know that those in any position of power are placed there by God. He expects them to use that authority wisely, compassionately and with integrity. That applies to kings, presidents, fathers, husbands, men in general as well as women in positions of authority over others. Those who desire to use their authority will find God willing to grant them discernment. He can give amazing perception to the eyes of one who desires to see an individual or a situation accurately in order to exercise authority appropriately.
