~ When you build your homes on sand, don’t expect them to stand. ~ For many of us, our spiritual journeys practically rendered us homeless (or have) and with little possessions to our name. I, myself, with the exception of a few items in a small storage unit, ended up giving everything away. As my desire to live in truth grew deep inside my heart so did my energetic vibration rise and the things of this world; the things of matter felt too heavy in their vibration for me-- especially if they were things I wasn’t utilizing. Even though I had always been pretty good about recycling-giving things away and not buying too much, I felt it was time to live as simply in my outer world as I was feeling in my inner world. I wanted my home to reflect my inner being… Also, naturally, as I began to feel the eternal essence of my being, the fullness was enough for me and so I began to desire less and less material things. I went from feeling I had to have a new car every few years to having no car, and from spending thousands of dollars on new clothes every year to getting excited about a few good finds in a thrift store! But that’s only a small part of the story…. As many of you know, there came a time when we could no longer keep lying to ourselves; we had to admit the truth; we had to face the fact that we had built our homes on sand and it was only a matter of time that the whole charade would come crashing down around us! Especially as our debt mounted and as we felt more and more shackled to a lifeless, mechanical system that never brought us much--if any--joy. Our awakening caused us to see how much of the system we’d bought into and how much of our invaluable time we invested in maintaining the status quo; how much of our precious life force we gave to the system as our personal lives; as our spiritual practice suffered more every day and we were fast forgetting our true abundance is within our own beings--not in a world of form, even though the forms can be fun sometimes. But at what price? Can any of us trade those forms in and get our time back? Can any of us forget about all the special moments of loved ones we missed working for the ‘man’? Working for ‘ourselves’? But many of us never really bought into this primitive sacrificial system, did we? We’ve always known deep down that none of it makes sense! The reality is that millions of doors close to someone who finally decides they simply can no longer play by the one-sided rules of tyrants; they just cannot continue to literally poison (as stress literally dumps toxic chemicals into our bloodstream!) their own Body Temples anymore whilst living out of integrity with their core values and as they line the pockets of their ‘masters’. There have been many jobs I simply could no longer do--if ever---if it meant lying and cheating or practically having to bow down to the ‘upper level executives’ etc… which many corporations-employers expect of ‘their’ employees. That’s one side of it, never mind the frustration in seeking out win-win business partnerships with people for many imagine they’re ‘awake’ and yet are still fast asleep at the wheel! They’re still worshiping and enforcing the hierarchies of the old regime; they still want to lead while the rest are supposed to not ask any questions and just blindly follow along. And dont get me wrong, I believe all should reach as high and as far as they want, and if it means they acquire great material wealth, then great! But how many new jobs did they create? How many lives did they change for the better? Because for millions-billions? to live in bare survival mode or beneath it while a select few continue to live in obscene wealth--often at the expense of others, is unacceptable in my world view. For so many to go without the bare necessities in life is sheer ignorance and greed of which we all contribute to at some level or another. I know that we do know better now and that we can do better! And I know many of us have loved ones who will have nothing to do with us anymore because of the changes we’ve made. I know how painful it can be sometimes and how isolated one can feel but just remember all are awaking in their own way and time and it’s all sacred nonetheless. Many of you know that this is part of our growing pains as a collective consciousness and as we continue to seed the higher thought forms it will not always be this way. Even now many of us are bouncing back stronger than ever, right? We are rising fast and we are rebuilding our homes from the ground up on the solid foundations that rest on two of the most important things that truly make a home a “home”; they rest on truth and love. And so it is! Love, Jhenya
