☆ While filming Appalachian Outlaws today...A WV Conservation Officer brought in almost one pound of suspected illegally dug wild dry ginseng. They needed a weight & estimated worth so they could accurately charge the individual or individuals. We filmed the whole thing to air as a warning not to dig out of season. But the folks in Charleston wouldnt give their permission to allow it in the show...What a shame ! It was a great chance to send a message. We havent given up yet though, We are trying to get permission from the governor to let it air . We offered to let the state to view the final edit to make any comments or any requests of editing before it airs. Ill keep you informed. .and may ask your help later.
