# Who is a God-fearing person? Ecclesiastes 12:13 Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.” The above is a King Solomons understanding about life gained through heavenly wisdom after revolving in the mind and research. Who is a God-fearing person? Its not enough to say I fear God. It is to show to others and to the world how I carve God’s Word on my heart and live according to it. Of course, sometimes our faith is weak and the mind is weak, so we cannot do it as the same as the word. But we are trying to stand up again and do it. So those who fear God will always give careful attention to the Word of God, and also their mind and footsteps will focus on it. When we do this, we can live according to the word. What is the purpose of learning the Word of God? It is to believe that Jesus is the Savior and get salvation, and to live the life of salvation, through the Words. Hearing a sermon, Reading Bible, and Bible study, they are not an end in itself. However, for some people to understand and to build knowledge has become an end. Do you remember the Pharisees? Jesus criticized them severely. They teach but they do not keep as they teach. When we tell people to believe Jesus and be saved, they will respond to us “Watching your behavior, I don’t want to believe”, if our life do not match our words. Jesus gave us the great commission “Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:20) The purpose of Jesus’ teaching is to observe it. Learning and knowing the Words, we should not stop there. We should hold onto the Word even one and live by the energy of the Word. Growing to big head only is not good, the hands and feet must grow too. After listening in the ear, understanding in the head, touching in the heart, and the hands and feet should move. Of course, the time to get to the hands and feet, it will be different to each person. Some people take a day or a yea or 10 years, or a lifetime. Some people on the other hand take place immediately. Thus when the reaction is quickly displayed, we use this expression “Good faith or Standing firm in the Word”. A faith is the life of faith. Even demons know There is one God and tremble. (James2:19, Mark5:7) But they do not get salvation. Knowing only in the head, it is not whole but is impaired. We must avoid this error that if many people accept it, and my feeling is good it is right, regardless of the Word of God. It is possible to deceive others with silly games or to bring in an expedient in this world. But, God is impervious to such things. Today, who is a God-fearing person?
