***Winter Weather Advisories*** have been issued for all of NJ for Saturday. Snow/ Sleet/ Ice/ Wind and Rain will make for an awful day. Looking at latest guidance the storm is speeding up meaning the snow will develop earlier. I think the 1st flakes start in southern NJ around 10p tonight & migrate northward thru the overnight. Earlier arrival means slightly more...slightly more, snow is possible.... ***BIGGEST concern will be ice accrual during changeover Saturday morning.*** Roads will be dangerously slippery and that ice build up will add extra weight to power lines and branches. Sporadic outages could be a possibility. As the storm strengthens off the NJ coastline and races towards Nova Scotia winds will pick up especially at the caoast gusting to 35mph+ Heavy rain at the shore couple w/ gusty winds could cause minor coastal flooding during times of high tide so check your tide chart for your area. Complicated Storm... Timing: (Give or take an hour or two) 9p to 1am all snow... 2a to 4a changeover to rain & ice from I-195 south 5a to 10a Rain SNJ & coast, ice/sleet/snow NNJ 11a to 4p Changeover AGAIN back to snow for all of NJ! Ending around 5pm. whew! Be careful and safe everyone
