“Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding” Proverbs 4:7. I have always asked people what they would like to get above all things and would receive all sorts of answers. Some prioritise the anointing, money, vehicles, houses, spouses, and many other funny things. Thank God for scriptures which show us what we should prefer (wisdom) above all. “For wisdom is better than rubies; and all the things that may be desired are not to be compared to it” Proverbs 8:11. True wisdom is fearing God and understanding departing from evil (Job 28:28). This is true and should be taken like that. We are told by scriptures that God possessed this spirit (wisdom) from everlasting. Proverbs 8:22-23 “The Lord possessed me (wisdom) in the beginning of his way, before his works of old. I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was”. God himself is wisdom and any men who possess him in this dimension has obtained wealth. The most expensive thing in this world is wisdom and understanding. This is the most expensive compound. Prophecy is a baby to this one. Word of knowledge is a baby to this one. Prophecy is the will of God revealed to men, and the word of knowledge are spiritually revealed facts about a phenomena (anything). Wisdom is the - what to do and the how to do it part - so that you prosper by using the knowledge and the will of God. Many people were prophesied, and other have knowledge, but they do not know what to do and how to use that information. This is the dilemma of the whole world. All we need is wisdom and just to understand. This is the boast of wisdom “Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom: I am understanding; I have strength. By me kings reign, and princes decree justice. By me princes rule, and nobles, even all the judges of the earth …….. Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness. My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver” Proverbs 8:14-16, 18, 19. How do we find wisdom? “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me” Proverbs 8:17. Love wisdom and seek it while you are young. It is actually the younger fox who should seek for wisdom more that those who are already filled with it.
