✨Words of wisdom from Mike Amon-Kwafo ✨.... Blessed me this morning: Someone told a story of the late Archbishop Benson Idahosa who carried a lady member of his church in his car and drove out of Lagos with her, destination unknown. She was more perplexed when he drove straight into a cemetary . He led her into that graveyard and stopped, turned to her and said, My lady as you can see in this place the neighbours dont condemn themselves. Infact they cant do or say anything hurtful or destructive. Quietly they drove back into town where the neighbours, people you interact with on a daily basis, at school,church, home and the work place, people above you, people below you, your friends, your peers, will continue to be the source of your woes. If you are dead, perhaps ugly, boring and a non achiever, you are not a subject for people interest because you dont threaten anyone. But if you will dare to venture then be certain that people will vilify you, blame you, frustrate you, undermine you, stab you in the back and I dont need to go further. It is driven by envy, jealousy, hatred and an inferiority complex.Yes Dilys. We cannot stop birds from flying overhead but we surely can stop them from roosting in our hair.
