**Would you like to join the Just Dogs Team?** We are looking for an enthusiastic, flexible and outgoing part time team member to work in the shop. We are initially offering a minimum of 11.5 hours a week but opportunities for extra hours during busier periods and for holiday cover will be likely. We are looking for the team member to be available for Sunday shifts and one day during the week. Weekend availability is a key requirement for the role as we would be looking for someone flexible enough to also do occassional cover for Saturdays. We are a specialist shop and customer service for our two and four legged customers is extremely important to us, so you must enjoy dealing with people and animals alike. Heavy lifting can be required, (we sell big bags of dog food!) and we are very busy so comfy shoes are a must. Lots of contact with doggies is obviously a big part of the job but there are still lots of retail related tasks requiring attention (although we would love to we cant just cuddle dogs all day long!). We are looking for someone who is PC literate as we also have a busy website to keep updated. The hourly rate will be £7 per hour. The successful applicant will preferably have retail experience and they must, of course, be a passionate doggy lover. The position may appeal to a student currently studying animal care, animal science/behaviour, zoology or the likes although this is, of course, not a requirement for the role.
