It’s a collection almost as old as the emergent Kévin Brottes aka Spencer K aka Lift Butterfly, who resumes a partnership that turned everything to ‘Gold’ on last year’s Balearic-to-basement frontrunner for Bla Bla Records, and the tech-n-tribal emissions of the ‘Raw Gaz’ EP on Bouq. ‘Rondo’, shaped by fervently snippy beats and percussion elongating into a tribal bumper, is one for putting drinks down and getting your glass-holding hands aloft...assuming you’re prepared to have your ribs dug by what’s an out and out bustle swinging a stopwatch at you.
