#Your Parentage Does Not Matter Afterall, You Too Can Be Self-Made# You have complained about not being born by a Dangote or Mike Adenuga and have lived all your life echoing this complaint. I am inspired this night to tell you frankly that your parentage does not really matter as far as your becoming somebody is concerned. This morning, I am inspired to tell you that: Most of the worlds great men were actually born by OBSCURE Fathers. They simply MADE themselves by not resigning themselves to the cruel fate bestowed on them by their parentage. A self-made man is he who comes from unpromising circumstances, who is not born into privilege and wealth, and yet by his own efforts, by pulling himself up by the bootstraps, manages to become a great success in life. A self-made man is anyone who attains far greater success than his original circumstances would have indicated was possible. Each time you see those children of the Super Rich, and you feel like; why am I not also fathered by a Dangote, Mike Adenuga, Femi Otedola, Isiaku Rabiu, Subomi Balogun or Jim Ovia? Remember that Abraham Lincoln lacked connections,charisma, good looks, and formal education, and yet became one of the greatest presidents in United States history. Also, Sean Combs, known as Puff, Puff Daddy and P. Diddy was born in public housing projects in Harlem, Sean’s father was shot to death when Sean was only 2. He attended Howard University but dropped out. But Puff Daddys Bad Boy Records produced hit artists like the Notorious B.I.G. Today, with a net worth estimated to be around $324 million, Combs has taken full ownership of his life and done it with style. In Nigeria, can anyone say who the father of former President Olusegun Obasanjo was? Who is the father of President Goodluck Jonathan? Who was the father of late MKO Abiola? These men were all born by OBSCURE FATHERS, yet they became great men! What then is stopping you? Dont you know that things may come to those who wait, but only the things left by those who hustle?
