† Zero to Hero † And he said to him, “Please, Lord, how can I save Israel? Behold, my clan is the weakest in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father’s house.” 16 And the LORD said to him, “But I will be with you, and you shall strike the Midianites as one man.” Judg. 6:15-16 Gideon was the least in his family who was the weakest clan to begin with. But God chose him to lead a group of three hundred men and defeat a vast Midianite army whose camels could not even be counted. Gideon was scared, hopelessly outnumbered, and outside of God, had nothing going for him. But it turned out that when he had just God, it was more than enough. The enemies turned on each other and then ran and after the battle, there were forty years of peace. God likes to show His power strong in the weak and humble. Moses was the meekest man on earth, David was the least of his family. Today you may be the least of the family, or feel the weakest, but God can make you go from zero to hero, and if you follow His leading, no thing or no one can hold you back. He is enough.
