... a friend in durham said his rolley-recycling curbside cart has a RFID chip in it - fast forward to my mailbox where i have received two postcards from OC recycling asking me if i want a free rolley-recycling-cart - SERIOUS question - is OC jamming these carts with RFID chips? why the hell would they want to monitor rural recycling habits? - it is not like we are given this service free ... anyone have any knowledge? ... evidently a common practice to monitor usage, but i dont want to play if that is the case. we will keep using our old worn out bins. anyone? just curious if i slept through that memo!
