:: a privilege i doubt ill ever know again: being able to look up at the sun and let it shine on my face without worrying about pain/discomfort/swelling/general allergy to my skin. i think about the word privilege and how its used to talk about what you have access to that others dont inherently. Imagine trying to walk around on a sun filled planet while you have to hide, literally, from the life giving thing which is toxic to you: the sun. so, so grateful that my husband walks in the shadows with me.
